Legends Hunted. Empires Built

I’m a second-generation Norwegian-born headhunter and Founder/CEO of Executive Search Research (ESR), where I’ve since its inception in 1997 have conducted over 5,000 recruitments of key roles, with a a 97% hiring ratio for Fortune 1000 companies like Raytheon, Amgen, and Microsoft, according the best-practice blueprint outlined in my US bestseller on recruitment. Rooted in my Viking heritage as a direct descendant of King Gudröd Ragnvaldsson, I harness ancient behavioral insights and advanced AI to transform organizations in the corporate world while driving ESR’s philanthropic projects that reduce crime in high-risk U.S. communities by over 75% to create a safer America—all without using tax dollars and as as futurist with speciality in human behavior futurology.( CLICK FOR BIO)

As the author of Secrets of the Executive Search Experts now its 5th edition (2025), I provide a comprehensive exploration of the science behind the recruitment industry and how to apply AI, which is the methodology applied by Executive Search Research. My work has earned high praise from Melaine Kusin, Vice Chairman of Korn Ferry International, who stated: “A thorough documentation of the science behind executive search…An excellent primer for search professionals, and an enlightening view of the business for users of search.“.

Prior to founding my own firm, I was privileged to be mentored by the greatest headhunter in Scandinavia, who was the principal at A.T. Kearney, where I served as his apprentice. I was then next given the opportunity to apprentice under one of the highest-ranked executive search consultants in the United States at Ward Howell in Los Angeles and Chicago, where I served global clients. During these years of learning from the best at two of the world’s top executive search firms—combined with growing up with my father, who was also a master of the craft—I gained a valuable foundation that later allowed me to excel as a world-class headhunter.

In 2000, in parallel with my early days work in executive search I developed an early technological platform for headhunting and human behavior assessments, backed by institutional investor and ready for launch. However, due to the dot-com crash, the project was put on hold. The core methodologies I had created—together with next over two decades of further study in human behavior—laid the groundwork for what would eventually become LifeScript.Ai in 2025. This evolution reflects my enduring commitment to merging cutting-edge technology with in-depth insights into human behavior algorithms.

Prior to my “hands-on recruitment” work, I founded a weekly newspaper on “international recruitment and human behaviour patterns” from the ground up. It was distributed nationally through the largest magazine and newspaper outlet in Norway, where I served as Editor-in-Chief for the three years the newspaper operated. During this time, I was simultaneously awarded a research grant from the Norwegian Research Council to study future recruitment needs and the skills required by the future labour force within the European Union. In addition, I published a handbook with one of the largest publishing houses on how to prepare the workforce for international work, which included a global labour forecast.

Beyond corporate recruitment, I leverage my headhunting expertise through ESR’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm, Neighborhood Rescue of America (NRA), leading and implementing the replicable Vegas Vikings model—achieving a 75% crime reduction in one of Las Vegas’ most dangerous neighborhoods within 21 days, without tax money. This success was recognized with an honorary award from the Mayor and City Council of Las Vegas and has become a national blueprint for revitalizing struggling American communities—creating safer, stronger cities for children and pets. It has achieved over 90% crime reduction in other cities and is also featured in the multi award winning documentary Vegas Vikings. An important part of NRA’s program is the POWER leadership program, led in partnership with Dr. Bradford. As part of our non-profit efforts, we are also co-authoring the upcoming AI POLICING 2030 book.

I hold a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Pacific Lutheran University and conducted my African American Studies at California State University, Los Angeles, to enrich my understanding of cultural dynamics and leadership in diverse environments. The insights acquired from my lifelong work in recruitment, psychology, community transformation and how to apply the ancient Norse Viking spirit in the 21st century is shared in the more than dozen books I have authored, e-workshops and communities created for knowledge sharing and skillset building in the “Game of Life”.

With unwavering dedication to my purpose of facilitating maximized growth for high-achievers, I empower organizations to thrive by delivering the right leadership while also driving meaningful community transformation—proving that the right talent doesn’t just build companies; they build a better and safer world.
