Multi-award-winning feature documentary made possible due to skills in headhunting, human behavior, the learning experience of making Living the Dream in 2004, and the Norse Althing methodology. Vegas Vikings was theatrically released in Los Angeles. The story of Norwegian Norse Viking Spirit Advocate Christian Schoyen follows Christian to Las Vegas to kick off the Vegas Vikings Game. From ground zero, he recruits an elite team of modern-day Vikings and, as the project leader, which includes the Las Vegas Police Department, results in crime being reduced by a record 75% in the most dangerous community in Vegas over 21 field days. The project received national recognition and an honorary award from Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman. The blueprint has been shared at Police leadership conferences throughout the US, with the results of other US cities replicating the model with the same results with the Vegas Viking games now in its 10th year.
HOMETOWN HEROES is an inspirational 8 episode talk-show hosted by Christian Schoyen on KCLV - Channel 2 presenting the inspirational modern day Vikings of Las Vegas. In close up interviews, you get to know the unique individuals life story, find out where it all originated, where they get their drive and inspiration from, why they do what they do and what we all can learn from them. Concept was based on the skillset obtained from Christian over last 25 years interviewing and assessing over 10,000 high performers as a behavior expert and headhunter to identify those who make the world progress.
Filmed in Hollywood, California. Starring: Sean Young (Blade Runner, Wall Street), Danny Trejo (Heat, Machetta). Jeff Conaway (Grease, Taxi). Distributed by Paramount Pictures . Feature docudrama about two friends who, after being bullied as children, become corrupt, in a heartless society with only superficial values mattering and where the end justifies the means. Exciting project as not being a filmmaker, with no prior experience except a 3 day class on "how to make short film" class, followed with headhunting the stars from favorite movies and crew of 60 people. The project was next filmed over a 3-week summer holiday in July 2004. From ground zero with the "no fear" Viking mindset a Hollywood feature movie with movie stars and distribution with a major distributor, theatrical release, review by LA Times became a reality.
